Jordan offers new hosting solution
Jordan Telecom has launched an internationally-conforming host-serving facility for the whole region. The facility is said to be the second in the Middle East after Dubai.
Jordan Telecom's new data centre creates a regional alternative to remote hosting in the U.S. while still meeting full international specifications, said Pierre Mattei, Jordan Telecom CEO.
"The service is Jordan's first professional hosting solution and offers domestic and neighbouring clients the latest technology to enhance their main servers or disaster recovery sites. Prime targets are Jordanian Internet service providers, banks and government departments as well as potential cross-border clients seeking state-of-the-art hosting facilities."
The data centre is driven by the Jordan Telecom data network, providing high speed capacity through Jordan Telecom's FLAG and satellite links. The centre will guarantee secure connectivity to the Internet at the highest possible speed," added Mattei.
Key benefits include a totally-secure server environment, self-monitoring accessibility for equipment and content, online content management through clients' own PCs and round-the-clock operational and administrative back-up. |
