Foreign language

OK, this isnt an entry about not understanding someone who speaks english, but is just confusing.
Robin and I (my boss) have been praying over finding a substitue for our daycare. On Wednesday of last week,we got a phone call from Phil, the guy I do street ministry with. He said that his wife was looking for a job. His wife is from Mexico. So. You put it together, she speaks 98% spanish, 2% English. Many people would think that working with someone when there is a language barrier is a nightmare, but it wasnt. It went very smooth. How many people remember those Richard Scarry Books? The ones with the little animals... Well, Phil brought one for us to use with Edith (pronounced Ideed) and its like a little picture dictionary. Its totally awesome.
So yesterday during naptime, we sat down with Edith and were just going through some commonly used words that go around the day care. That was cool.
Phil had told us on one of the phone conversations, that since they moved out of the house that they were initially livng in (with a bunch of guy) he comes home to their apartment and she is crying. Because she ha no one up here. No family, no friends, she doesnt drive, she doesnt speak the language....
But yesterday she was genuinely happy. I was so glad for that. This is definitly of Gods plan.
On another note, I'm beginning to get my creativity back for PHS, which is a good thing. I can now vent. Anyway, its time for work, ttyl
