The space of the classroom seemed to be divided by transparent white plates. It was hard for them to decide where to move. The desks and chairs moved as though they had lives of their own. Foggy mists would appear suddenly to hedge their sight. They felt as though they were lost in a misty maze. They kept losing sight of each other. "Keep calm", Melissa said, to Lydia, and to herself.

They walked hand in hand, stumbling and at last Lydia found the door, half open, through the fog.

"Quick"! She said.

They rushed out of the classroom and then out of the building, to the walkway beside it and sat down to draw breath. 

Lydia whispered, "This is not our university"! 

Melissa looked around. She felt frozen. That was absolutely not their school, though it looked the same but all the buildings were in silvery white. Unknown thickset plants grew quite well all around but nobody was on the street except them. Images of the red buildings and rows of willows and phoenix trees flew into her mind.

"We must be dreaming", Lydia mumbled. There was a long silence. They did not know what to do. They dared not return to the strange room that led them to this alien place? Who knows where it would take them. But did they have any other choice?

"Hey, children, what are you doing here", a tall old man in livery said, coming up to them. His livery was silvery white too! Melissa and Lydia looked at each other but did not know what to say. What could they say? "We do not belong to this world"! He would think them mad. 

The man looked at them for a while and said,
"Where are you from"?

The two girls were shocked. How could he know they were not people from this place? The man seemed to know what they were thinking. "Energy around you told me so. This is a transparent world".

"Transparent world", the two girls exclaimed in tandem?

"Yes, your heart would attract energy similar to its own. Maybe you could not see the energy, but people could feel it. If your emotion is strong, the energy spreads itself and is felt by people similarly attracted to it, but not others".

Melissa and Lydia looked at each other unbelievingly. A strong wind came up suddenly and surprised them.

"Keep calm children! Your mood influences events here". The old man did not like the wind at all.

"How can we get back?” Lydia asked eagerly.

"By the road that led you here", said the old man.

"That classroom?" asked the girls.

"Yes if that was the passage. Go back to it and feel as you felt when you entered it. Find the right mood and the right place".

"But then we might go to a wrong place"!

"I'm afraid so" said the old man. "If there are already two worlds, how can we know none other exists"?

"No, no", Lydia said frustrated!

"We have to go back, Lydia", Melissa said firmly. "Come on".

"But we don't even know where we are headed, Melissa"!

"We have to try", said Melissa.

"That's it. Remember to keep calm, children. And good luck!”

"Thanks", Melissa replied heavily.

The two girls turned back to the road from where they came and walked to room 530 again. This time they noticed that the building was totally shrouded in silvery white. The cirri in different colors were the only decorations. They arrived in front of room 530 again.

Melissa took a deep breadth, and turned to Lydia. "We are there again now". Pale faced, Lydia nodded and they started their return journey, with deep anxiety, uncertain of their destination.
